Rob Bailey is a Manhattan-based guitarist, singer-songwriter-producer.

Upon graduating the Berklee College of Music, he emerged in the New York studio scene in the mid 90's, working with über DJ-producers Junior Vasquez and Shep Pettibone and numerous well-known artists, including Cyndi Lauper and Lisa Lisa.

Extensive local live work and private teaching experience followed, and the 1997 Phil Ramone/Terry Manning produced Anger's Candy by Blake Morgan (recorded at Compass Point in the Bahamas and featuring guest vocals from Lenny Kravitz) further solidified the guitarist, as did national opening slots for artists such as Matchbox 20 and Joan Jett.

Enter producers Rick Wake and Jive Jones and bring on the platinum...

1999-2002 saw guitar work on the gold single Candy by Mandy Moore and work on Anastacia's first two multi-platinum albums. Of particular note is the distinctive playing on Jive Jones' Me, Myself and I (2001), which graced TRL, NOW8, the soundtracks for the films Big Fat Liar and Holes, and the trailer for the movie 40 Days and 40 Nights.

October 2002 found I Belong, a single co-written with Jive Jones, in the Top 20 in Holland. At the same time session work expanded into advertising and TV, with work for Calvin Klein, Fox Kid's Saturday Morning, and several Super Bowl spots being noteworthy highlights...

Adding even more diversity to the resumé, Rob subbed for guitarists Dennis DelGaudio and Tommy Byrnes, on the hit Broadway Show, Movin' Out, (2004-2005). The rare opportunity of playing one evening with Billy Joel himself was the icing on the cake.
